Jade Lawson

Lawson Legal was founded in 2020 by Jade Lawson, who holds an LLB degree (Cum Laude) from the University of South Africa and who completed her Practical Legal Training at the University of Cape Town. Thereafter, she worked as a mediator for one of South Africa’s leading legal insurance companies. Inspired by her passion to make the law accessible to all people, Jade identified a need in the legal industry, where mediation could play a pivotal role in offering efficient and expert family law services to individuals at a fraction of the cost of litigation. Her areas of expertise are divorce law, family law, divorce mediation, parenting plans, parental responsibilities and rights, care and contact of children, and unwed fathers’ rights.
