About
Jekka Garner joined ACA Compliance Group's legal department in 2018 as counsel. Prior to joining ACA, Jekka worked as a research clerk in BGR Group’s Washington, DC office, where she focused on government and international affairs. Jekka earned her Juris Doctor degree from American University’s Washington College of Law after completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts with Art History emphasis degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During law school, Jekka interned in the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia’s Criminal Division. She also worked extensively with the Glushko-Samuelson Intellectual Property Law Clinic as a student attorney and Dean’s Fellow. Jekka is a Virginia licensed attorney who lives in Washington, DC with her dog, Dean Smith.
