Juan Ignacio Fraschini Silvarredonda

A graduate of the University of the Republic, he holds a Postgraduate degree in International Taxation from the University of Münster (Germany, 2005) and an LL.M. from the University of Konstanz (Germany, 2006). He is the CEO and Founding Partner of the Innovation Group.

With over 15 years of experience in International Tax Consulting, he advises corporate clients, family offices, and UHNW individuals on international tax planning, wealth planning and protection, tax residency, trusts, and foundations.

In recent years, he has also focused on advising Start-Ups on tax and corporate structures, commercial agreements, Intellectual Property protection, capital raising, and business internationalization strategies.

He is the author and co-author of several articles and books on international taxation, and a frequent speaker at conferences in Latin America and Europe. He is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the Uruguayan Institute of Tax Studies (IUET), and the Iberoamerican Observatory of International Taxation (OITI). He has represented Uruguay at the IFA Latam Committee for 10 years and has been a Professor of Financial Law at the University of Montevideo (UM) in undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Currently, he is a Professor of International Taxation in the Postgraduate program at the University, teaching courses on International Tax Advisory, Double Taxation Agreements, and International Tax Regimes relevant to Uruguay.

He has been recognized, along with his firm, in five successive editions of Chambers and Partners as a Top Ranked Lawyer, Band 1 in their prestigious High Net Worth Guide publication, and in 3 successive editions of Chambers Latin America as a leading tax lawyer in Uruguay. Additionally, he has been distinguished by Leaders League (International Taxation / Mergers and Acquisitions) and the International Tax Review magazine as a Highly Regarded Practitioner in the General Corporate Tax area.
