I have been in the journalism industry since I was 11 years old, contributing essays and feature articles as a Grade 5 student. As a professional, I have gone "full circle" in the traditional tri-media: print, TV and radio, working as reporter and anchor in major and minor beats, including the Palace, the Senate, the Supreme Court, the Department of Foreign Affairs, and Trade and Industry. At the height of the 1997 Asian financial crisis, I was covering the business and economic beats, including the Central Bank, the National Economic Development Authority, banks and the Philippine Stock Exchange. With the advent of the "new media," I started Embassytopps.com some six years ago and featured various embassy events, especially projects and activities which benefit the Philippines and its citizens. EmbassyTOPPs also covers and features local and global trade and economic stories that impact the Philippine economy.
