Olivier Gillier is one of the founders of Global Capital Group and co-founder of RioBlanco Capital LLC in Puerto Rico. With a background rooted in international finance, Olivier brings decades of experience advising on complex investments and diverse asset portfolios. Prior to co-founding RioBlanco Capital, he spent eight years at Merrill Lynch in New York, where he served as a Senior Vice President overseeing high-value wealth management strategies. He also worked at Citigroup and began his career as a consultant at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in Brussels, focusing on investment-industry clients.


Beyond his corporate roles, Olivier exemplifies a commitment to public service. He holds the honorary title of Consul of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, a role that underscores his passion for strengthening economic and cultural ties across borders. This international outlook is further reflected in his multilingual abilities—he is fluent in French, Dutch, and English, with working proficiency in Spanish and Italian.


Olivier’s philanthropic spirit is evident through his active support for global health causes, including his involvement as a board member of the ICLA Da Silva Foundation. Recognized for his contributions, he was honored by the Institute of Directors (IoD) with the Award for Showing Promise and Excellence in the Economic and Commercial Field.
