Sanjay Kumar Singh

I am an ophthalmologist working in the Eastern part of Nepal since last 24 years. I finished my post graduation MD in ophthalmology in 1996 and fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment in 2000 from LV Prasad Eye Institute. I completed M.Sc. Community Eye Health from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, London in 2004-2005. I had lamellar keratoplasty training from Dr Gerret Melles and Dr Rajesh Fogla.

I started Phaco surgery at Mechi Eye Hospital in Nepal in the year 2000, PERFECT surgery in 2012 and DMEK surgery at Biratnagar Eye Hospital in 2015.

I am the founding Medical Director of Mechi Eye Hospital and Biratnagar Eye Hospital. Presently I am professor of Ophthalmology at EREC-P affiliated with National Academy of Medical Sciences.
