Ours is a Farmer Producer Company Limited engaged in the production and processing of Oyster Mushroom round the Year. This FPCs being formed and run by the 520 Mahila Kisaans of distt. Kathua of JKUT. We want to set-up a processing unit or production of mushroom EXTRACT.

From the extract of oyster mushroom many bio-active compounds can be isolated which are used in pharmaceutical formulation for the cure of many fatal diseases such as Cancer, HIV, Blood Pressure, Diabetes and other diseases related to low immunity. These compounds are as below:-

1. Polysaccharides
2. Beta- D Glucan (pleuran) "Lectin"
3. Beta- D Glucan (Pleuran)
4. Lovastatin
5. Selenium
6. Aromatic flavor compounds 1-octe 3- of

Beside these many other bio-compounds can also be extracted from this type of mushroom.
