Tim Miller

Before becoming an Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, and CFI-I), Tim Miller spent 30 years teaching calculus, differential equations, number theory, algebra, and geometry at Niles West High School and Loyola Academy. In addition to a long career in teaching, Tim was an aeronautical engineer with Lockheed in Silicon Valley designing control systems for military satellites, and since 2015 Tim has been a member of the Leading Edge Flying Club. Much of Tim’s flying time has been spent in 3096B; he earned his instrument rating, commercial certificate, CFI, and CFII all in the club’s airplane. Contact him at timothyjaymiller@gmail.com or (847) 987-9011 for a checkout in 3096B, a flight review, as well as ground and/or flight training for private pilot, commercial pilot, an instrument rating, or CFI training.
