NetMe Ventures is the holding & investments company of the Marmarelli family.
After working many years in the Israeli Hitech arena (being a senior executive in two NASDAQ listed companies and the chairman of the Israeli Hitech Organisation) Tuvia Marmarelli started NetMe as a Venture Capital company, to seed, scout technologies, mentor and raise funds for Israeli startups; mostly in the software , internet & communications arenas (his personal expertize).
Capitalizing on his vast network of contacts, the operation evolved from raising equity for start-ups to raising equity and debt for real estate investments which became more and more essential for the company’s growth and lead the company to its current position. Today, apart of being the private holding company of the family, NetMe became more of a launchpad for new business activities. Whenever these activities can “fly alone”, they go out of NetMe and form a “Lean & Mean” execution company with its own team and partners, directed by the holding’s people and values.
It is interesting to see how Hi-Tech investors become Real Estate investors and vice versa. Thus, forming a vibrant investors community (over 600 active investors) who share similar values: good ideas & values, business networking, personal trust and effective execution.
Netme’s companies larger eco system and teams are actively dealing with Hitech ventures and with Real estate since 2002. Since 2009 our teams and partners focused on American real estate – specifically in high demand areas. Over 100 development projects in New York & Brooklyn, and over 50 other projects all over the USA, had been led by the teams. The real estate teams specialize in sourcing high yield projects with minimal risk and exposure for its investors by taking advantage of its leaders’ and developing partners’ vast experience.
In the last year we are in a process of diversifying our real estate activities into new areas in Europe.
Our investors are taking part in various investments structures and activities (equity, new developments, secured and preferred loans, ad hock partnerships and special purpose funds) with secure and high yield potential, initially capitalizing on the tremendous opportunity created after the sub-prime crisis phenomena.
Although real estate become more and more significant for the holding, we love dealing with new ideas. So we cook, seed and nurture them at our NetMelabs, lead by the younger and smarter generation of the family.
